Getting started

Choose a starter look and name your character in the phone’s creator. Walk around Hackney with the thumb control on mobile; the web game also supports WASD or arrow keys. Follow the blue route to a contact, open your in-game phone and accept a job.

Walking jobs require pickup, a drop or several stops, a phone reply and a return interaction for payment. Waiting alone does not complete them. Jobs earn game cash, XP and rank progress; clothes and upgrades use fictional game currency.

Sound

Open Sound settings to adjust Music, London ambience, Game effects and Voice notes. Check Mute all, the device volume and the current audio output if sound is quiet. Voice notes are prepared recordings, not microphone recordings.

Saved progress

Progress saves locally on the device or browser where you play. No cross-device cloud-save feature is available. Device or browser storage changes and backups can affect retained progress.

If the game reports a save problem, keep the app installed and keep it open while progress is unsaved. Use its retry or recovery controls. Do not clear storage, reinstall or start a fresh story as your first troubleshooting step: these actions can affect the progress you want to keep.

Reporting a problem

Email hello@chewybytes.com with a short description, steps to reproduce, app version, device model and operating-system version. You may include a screenshot after removing personal information. Please do not send passwords, payment details, full save files or unrelated messages.

Gameplay stats and privacy

Optional gameplay stats start off and can be changed in Credits. Release crash and performance diagnostics run separately. Switching gameplay stats off does not delete previously sent reports, and events already queued while sharing was on may still be sent afterwards. Email hello@chewybytes.com with a privacy question.
